Technology Support Specialist
I've been working with computers since 1987, when I purchased my first computer - an IBM PS/2 Model 25 that had two floppy disk drives and no mouse. How far we have come in such a relatively short time!
Over the years, I've owned many Windows and Apple computers; iPods and iPads; Smartphones; and other assorted electronic gadgets.
My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in philosophy. My Masters degree is in community mental health counseling. You probably wouldn't have expected that from someone doing the work I'm doing today.
I've always enjoyed both technology products and working with people. Doing this work brings my educational background and my interest in technology together. For the past 19 years, I have been helping people
use technology products to connect with friends and family, become more
productive in their work, and develop new interests and skills.
It's all about improving understanding and communication. It just happens to be between a person and their computer or other device.
